    • Luscomb's is the kind of place you don't take your children to. They could fall right off the sandstone bluffs into the ocean and die, quite easily.

      For this reason, the locals do their best to deter people they don't know from surfing here. It's not so much that they're mean spirited, it's just that they don't want any more helicopters flying over their favorite break than necessary.

      If you're the adventuresome type, try following someone down the bluff who seems to know what they're doing. On a good day you'll surf long, walled up lefts and rights that break right into said bluff. Bring a leash if you're so inclined.
