Spain's largest city is known for many things - art, culture, and beautiful weather year round being at the forefront - but it also has surf for about 130 days a year. The best months are October through March, though even summer can bring the occasional small swell for logging.

As with any break in the Mediterranean, timing is key. Local knowledge of the conditions are everything, so don't think you can just pack up your gear and hit the jackpot without first connecting with people in the local scene to get it wired - chances are you will strike out instead of striking gold.
