The Malibu Surfing Assoc.'s MSA Classic Invitational is the United States' most prestigious club-level surfing contest and premier event in the Coalition of Surfing Clubs annual series. This invitational contest will be held at Surfrider Beach, Malibu from September 11-13, 2015. More than 260 invited athletes representing surfing clubs from around the world to compete at First Point, Malibu, one of surfing’s legendary waves.
In 2014, the MSA Classic Invitational was held under clear skies with a solid, 3-5’ swell. In terrific chest to shoulder high conditions and by placing a premium on length of ride, classic manuvers overall competitve strength the Windandsea Surf Club (WSC) won the MSA Classic Invitational Team Overall trophy. The WSC is a repeat winner of this prestegious event and always surf a tough experience crew that knows what it takes to win. WSC's 2014 MSA Classic Invitational crown was the forth year in a row the Malibu Surfing Assoc. didn't win its home contest.

Events during the 2015 MSA Classic Invitational are free of charge and open to the public. Early rounds begin Friday, September 11th and run through Sunday, September 13th.
