Thee Olde Surfing Park has been inundated with so much seaweed lately that I'm surprised it hasn't been designated.a farmland by the Bureau of Agriculture.
Aside from that minor hindrance, the Pumphouse was cranking out waist to shoulder high lefts, and @azukibean, @enriquerod and myself were stoked to get out there and show the light crowd of kooks a thing or two, haha!
It stayed pretty decent for.a good hour or more until the wind started whipping up some texture around 11:30. Enrique scored one really nice left just north of the steps, right after Tony had hooked into a really good one a bit further north and practiced cross stepping in his midlength. Enrique got pretty slotted on his wave, and that got me pumped to explore the outer waters for a while. I got a couple of decent set waves before heading back inside and north a bit where it was more consistent.
All in all it was a pretty decent day. I would surely do it all over again, despite the gross conditions!
(Photo removed because it was just tooooooooo gross.)
